The Selinsgrove Gelnett Book Festival has the following schedule. Printed versions will be available on the day of the event or can be downloaded from the bottom of this page.

Most of authors and vendors will be there to celebrate with us all day. If they will only be there for part of the day, you will see that marked with a “Don’t Miss Out” message.

The festival will be going on all day! We keep the rotating times to allow our authors and guests time to grab lunch without missing out on the fun.

Session One: 9:30-11:30am

The first session will feature one panel, from 10:00am to 11:00am in the Downtown Center. The Downtown Center can be found at 111 North Market Street and is a walkable distance from the Selinsgrove Commons.

The 10:00am panel will feature Oliver C. Seneca and J.T. Kunkel, on the topic Storytelling and Worldbuilding.

Creative Space is sponsoring an all-day children’s activity center in the Rudy Gelnett Library. The children’s programming will be held in the first-floor children’s section of the library.

Don’t Miss Out: Lee Miao will only be available during our first session.

Session Two: 1:30-3:30pm

The second session will feature one panel, from 2:00pm to 3:00pm in the Downtown Center. The Downtown Center can be found at 111 North Market Street, and is a walkable distance from the Selinsgrove Commons.

The 2:00pm panel will feature Emma Fleck and Marjorie Maddox, on the topic Writing and Audience.

We will be hosting a story time in our children’s activity center from 2:00pm to 3:00pm. The story time will feature readings from Ellen Ramsey, and Judi Jessick. Ellen Ramsey will be reading from 2:00 to 2:30p.m. and Judi Jessick will be reading from 2:30 to 3:00p.m.

Conclusion: 3:30 to 4:00pm

To conclude the first annual Selinsgrove Gelnett Book Festival, we will be hosting a small celebration in the Selinsgrove Commons. We invite all authors to this conclusion, where we will thank them, our vendors and sponsors, and have some small food options.
