Looking to get involved in your local literary community? You can participate as either a volunteer, author, vendor, or sponsor. For more details, use the information below.
Volunteer For Us!
The Selinsgrove Gelnett Book Festival is inviting volunteers to join their team on April 11th from 8:30 to 5:00pm. We welcome both volunteers for the whole day, or in rotating shifts from 8:30 to 11:30am, 11:30 to 2:30pm, and 2:30 to 5:00pm.
The festival is a celebration of a local literary community, and will consist of panels, author and vendor tabling, and literary themed events.
Volunteers will be responsible for helping in author or vendor set-up, assist in parking directions, handing out schedules, and other directional tasks. Physical labor may be required to move tables and chairs. If you would like to participate but cannot lift heavy objects, please inform our event coordinator Brianna Luby (luby@susqu.edu).
We are asking for around 30 volunteers to cover the whole day. Please fill out the form to participate no later than March 28th, 2026.

Are you an author based in the Central Pennsylvania region? Do you want to table or discuss literary themes on a panel?
Join our list of authors! We are currently looking for authors for the 2026 festival. If you are interested, please reach out to Kathryn Douglas (douglasm@susqu.edu) and fill out our author preference form.
